My 3 yr old LOVES this app!!!
Great app. I had a great time making a family list with all the aunts, uncles, cousins, and pets. My child loves to spell.
The App just needs one word to describe it. It is awesome!
Very simple nice clean look. Great for little learner
My 2 yo loves it!!!
This app is good for kids between 2 to 4 years. Sooooooper app.
My son learned on how to pronounce the letters.
Very clean graphics, easy to use, solid reinforcement. You wont regret having it for your kids!
My daughter has only used this program once, but apparently it wont let us use it again until we rate it... Whats up with that?
My daughter loves this app.
This would receive 5 stars but there are a few problems. As the letters are named, occasionally the letters are not named by the program- it remains silent when the child touches the letter. I also want children to spell their first and last name. The program leaves a blank space between the first and last name but the voice who is naming the letters does not recognize the space and says the letter for the second name during the blank space. This means that the entire last name is misspelled for the child who is learning their letters. Also, the app only works vertically. If you turn the IPAD horizontally, the app goes not rotate. This makes some of the letters very small to match when the words become longer. I hope that these issues can be updated because my class of three to four autistic kids loves this app!!! Please fix!
Letters snap into place making it easy for kids to know when it is in place. Letters play sound of letter and it is customizable; which is fantastic!!
I like the ability to customize this app. I would of given 5 stars but think some of the words could of been better chosen. Definitely an app worth the $.
We had hoped this would be a good experience but we were wrong.
Im tutoring a first grade kid in vocabulary/spelling. There appears to be one big problem which I already reported to grasshopper: creation of a customized list or change doesnt work. The microphone doesnt open for pronouncing the new word, and the words "new item" should automatically disappear once the new word is typed. One shouldnt have to manually erase those words. Perhaps, as the grasshopper apps staff reported, bugs introduced because of ios7 havent all been swatted. Other than the inability to customize, the app is the best Ive seen. Lots of flexibility in prompting, praise, delivery of words (whether random or alphabetical), whether to insist that the student lay down the letters in the order in which they are positioned in the word or whether they can lay down in any order as long as they are positioned correctly.
Disappointed that you cant turn off the letter magnet like in their other apps. Letter magnet is cheating. Otherwise a fantastic app, although the settings page has an outdated iOS6 look.
