Unlike other apps, the Little Speller allows you to customize how you and your kids use the app. The greatest feature is the ability to make new slides using your own voice. An unbelievable app at a great price.

This is a great way for a child to learn the concept of spelling - it basically shows them what they are doing. As an SLP, I would like to see a companion app that uses letter sounds instead of letter names when putting together the words - anybody have a recommendation?

I use this almost every day in my practice. It is great for articulation, language delayed, and dyslexic students.

This is exactly what I have been looking for my special needs adults who have low academic performance but can identify some words. It is interactive and reinforcing to them. I learn different ways to adapt it to the levels of each of my clients and it is not too simplistic for their functioning levels. Thank you! Another great app.

This is the best spelling app I have seen. I love that you can choose easy or harder words according to your childs ability. The photos are great, and one of my favorite things is that you have the option to require kids to spell from left to right. That is very helpful for promoting correct word formation. Thanks!

I love the ability to customize options. The pictures are a great addition too. Linda...Montessori Crosswords uses letter sounds to spell words.

This app is great for my early childhood special education students, many of whom are ESL. It builds vocabulary with simple, basic words paired with clear photos. My students are hearing a native speaker say the name of the item as well as naming each letter. The children are practicing their visual discriminating skills as well as having left to right modeled for them. And they are having fun the whole time!

Impressive use of technology to reach several different groups of spellers. Beginning readers and spellers, ELL learners, and children learning more complicated patterns can all use this app with its customization features. Lovely visuals support the learners as well. Nicely done!

This is great!

Its a great app with a lot of customization; however, I would really like to see the ability to create my own list using the words/pictures that are already a part of the app so I can limit how many words my daughter is learning and/or so it can mimick her school spelling list without me having to re-create the words.

This is a great app. The ability to customize lists with your own words with images and a recording makes it the best app of its kind.
